 Marldon MXW 654 Ebony Colourwax oil is a transparent base coat to naturally colour unfinished wood. It is a professional and easy-care natural wax finish for all interior wood. It is based on natural raw materials, is moisture regulating and allows the wood to breathe, allowing the wood to retain natural beauty.
For all species and uses of interior wood, panelling on walls and ceilings, furniture, doors, mouldings, plywood and laminated wood, beams, counter and table tops - and all other wooden objects. It is safe for children’s toys. Indispensable for wood and built-in furniture in moist surroundings like kitchens and bathrooms, because moisture will not impair the microporous, water-repellent surface. Especially recommended for the restoration of antique furniture. Marldon Walnut Colourwax Oil is well suited as coloured base coat for wooden, cork or bamboo floorings.
For second (final) coat on floors use Marldon Hardwax Oil MXW 620 Satin or MXW 630 Ultra Matt. For furniture, especially hard used work and tabletops, a second coat is recommended. For wall and ceiling panelling one coat will normally be sufficient.
Marldon Colourwax Oil protects the wood naturally, the oils penetrating deeply into the wood surface, protecting it from inside and keeping it healthy and elastic. The waxes protect the surface, making it resistant and easy to maintain. Wood treated with Marldon Colourwax Oil is water and dirt-repellent, wear-resistant and easy to maintain. Coffee, wine or aggressive fruit juices cannot penetrate, and can therefore be easily removed from the surface, which is resistant to household chemicals.
